Mr. James H. Talley is the Chief Financial and Operating Officer of JH Talley, P.C., Certified Public Accountants, with 46 years of experience providing financial consultation to profit and non-profit organizations nationwide. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), he specializes in tax planning for individuals and small businesses.

A lifetime member of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), Mr. Talley is also affiliated with the AICPA, Texas Society of CPAs, and AICPA’s Personal Financial Planners division. He began his career at Touche Ross (now Deloitte) and later became a partner at Dodd, Frazier, Jefferson & Talley, once the largest minority-owned CPA firm in Texas. He has also taught financial planning at Southern Methodist University.

Mr. Talley serves as a trustee for Dallas International University, a commissioner for Duncanville’s Audit & Finance Committee, and Chair of the Supervisory Committee of Oak Cliff Christian Federal Credit Union. A graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, he is a deacon at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship and a devoted husband and father of four, with two children and a grandson also CPAs.
